Prescott Shooting Range and Gun Club is Prescott’s only indoor shooting range. It’s also the longest and most sophisticated indoor range in the Quad Cities. It includes a retail shop with everyday, reasonable prices on guns, ammo and accessories. Our training classes encompass a wide variety of beginner, intermediate and advanced firearms courses as well as related self-defense courses. Our range and classes are not only designed for the experienced, avid shooter, but also for the novice and occasional shooter. We welcome those who are interested in learning more about responsible firearm ownership and safety as well as those just starting out in the shooting sports. Our 100+ selection of rental guns—the largest in the Quad Cities—allows you to try before you buy!
The overall safety of shooters and spectators is a priority that has received special attention in the design and construction of the range. In addition to having a certified Range Officer on duty at all times, Prescott Shooting Range and Gun Club’s indoor range meets or surpasses military specifications for indoor shooting facilities. State-of-the-art range equipment include a high-speed target carrier system and a high-volume filtered ventilation system that effectively removes smoke, lead and other contaminants from the shooters’ vicinity.

Nothing but good things to say about this these guys. A modern range with very friendly and helpful staff in every regard. I never got the feeling like I was an outsider in a special club, or talked down to like at other ranges I have been to over the years. If you go here more than twice a month, get the membership it is well worth it with free range time and a 5% discount on certain products.
This place is awesome, the staff is friendly and professional. The range is nice. I took their concealed carry course and it was very informative. I highly recommend this place. In fact…I’ll be back there again today!

Bill is a lifelong shooter raised in Appalachia. During his 35-year career as an imagery intelligence analyst, he held numerous positions including Team Lead Instructor and Course Manager specializing in asymmetric warfare (counter-terrorism) and ground forces order-of-battle. 
John has been coaching and teaching shooters since 1978, when he first became an NRA Assistant Rifle Instructor. He’s worked with hundreds of shooters, helping them to gain, improve, and sustain their skills. As Chief of the Live Fire Division and Senior Live Fire Trainer at the US Army National Training Center, he trained tens of thousands of US Army soldiers using free-maneuver, unscripted combined-arms live-fire exercises for up to 4,500 soldiers simultaneously.
Mike grew up in North Dakota and Minnesota, hunting, shooting, fishing, and enjoying the outdoors with family and friends. His first formal firearms instruction was the Hunter’s Safety course in Minnesota. Since then, Mike has hunted in North Dakota, Minnesota, South Africa, and Arizona. he has volunteered as Coach, Range Safety Officer, and Rangemaster at his local gun club in Minnesota and competed in handgun leagues in California. He is a multiple Orange Gunsite alumnus.
Shea is a true Prescott local who started shooting when he was about 6 years old. The first rifle he shot was his grandfather’s Springfield Model 1873 chambered in 45-70. That was when he fell in love with shooting. Shea then began shooting lessons with his grandfather, a WWII Combat veteran, who took Shea on his yearly hunts for elk and deer. He competed in IDPA (International Defensive Pistol Association) and USPSA (U.S. Practical Shooting Association) events for about 4 years.
Chris was born and raised in Tucson, Arizona. At the age of nine he got his first gun, a tube-fed lever action .22LR, and went hunting for the first time at the age of 12 for black-tailed jackrabbit. Having had a lifelong fascination with all things military, he joined the United States Marine Corps directly out of high school and served four years in artillery at Camp Pendleton, California where he received several meritorious promotions and Navy and Marine Corps achievement medals among other awards. He earned an expert designation for rifle and pistol shooting and retired at the rank of Sergeant, to which he was promoted meritoriously.
Don has lived in many parts of the United States and traveled extensively throughout the world but feels most at home in Prescott. After visiting Prescott on a cross-country motorcycle trip in 1991, Don finally moved to Prescott full time in 2005 where he and his beautiful wife Elizabeth raise their 3 sons.
Rich has been shooting since he was in ROTC in college. Upon graduation, he was commissioned in the US Army where he was Airborne- and Ranger-qualified. Rich later worked for IBM Corporation in civilian life. 
The Fowlers are entrepreneurs who have owned a number of businesses in several unrelated fields. Val’s great-grandparents immigrated to Hawaii in the late 1800s; Pete’s parents immigrated to the East Coast from England in the 1950s; and they met somewhere in the middle!
Chuck was raised on a farm in North Carolina and began shooting at hunting at age 10, and has been a lifelong sportsman and shooting enthusiast. He owned and operated his own automobile business on the East Coast for many years, but his passion was always in firearms and shooting. Chuck has always loved bringing new people to the sport, so in 2008 he started a firearm training business which led him to Arizona for training. in 2018 he eventually made Chino Valley his new home.
Greg grew up in Mount Vernon, Ohio hunting squirrel, rabbit, and deer. In his early teens he was taught to shoot by his late uncle, a USMC sniper in the Pacific Theater in World War 2. Greg still owns that Winchester M75 .22LR rifle.
Kevin spent his early life in the Chicago area and has been living in the Prescott area for twelve years. He bought his first gun in recent years and began taking classes. Since then he has caught the gun bug and has dived head first into the shooting culture and community. With a focus in competitive shooting, he has taken classes with AJ Zito, Tim Herron, and Scott Jedlinski, and is now a sponsored shooter for Suarez International. You can find him competing nearly every weekend at Prescott Action Shooters. He currently works as the Catering Coordinator at Prescott College.
