NRA Rifle Instructor Certification

| $349If you are interested in becoming an NRA-certified rifle instructor, this 3-day class is for you! Teaching is fun and fulfilling! But if you give any sort of firearms instruction in association with any group, you should protect yourself by carrying firearm instructor’s insurance; an NRA certification is required for attaining that insurance. SCHEDULE:
BIT Saturday, June 15: 10am–5pm (Basic Instructor Training)
Saturday, June 22: 9am–4pm (includes shooting qual)
Sunday, June 23: 9am–4pm
PREREQUISITES: Students must possess and demonstrate a solid background in firearm safety and shooting skills acquired through previous firearm training and/or previous shooting experience; you must be intimately familiar with each rifle action type. We recommend, but do not require, your having taken the NRA’s Basic Instructor Training class within the last 2 years. You must pass the classroom portion AND the shooting qualification; the shooting qual can be found here: https://bit.ly/3vKa9W.
REGISTRATION CLOSES ON MAY 25: To secure a spot in the class, you must BOTH register on the NRA website (https://bit.ly/3vKa9WY) and register AND make payment to Prescott Shooting Range (see registration form at bottom of this webpage). Be sure to give a current contact phone number and email to get further information and instructions.
PLEASE NOTE: Due to the limited number of seats, the required student minimum and ratio, the extensive preparation time and costs, material expenses, and scheduling expenses for this multi-day class, there will be no refunds for this course unless the class fails to meet the 4-student minimum.
