DESCRIPTION:A Girl & A Gun Women’s Shooting League (AG&AG) is a shooting club established by women shooters for women shooters. AG&AG events are fun\, social gatherings where women come together for support\, encouragement\, ask questions in a safe\, nonjudgmental environment\, improve their marksmanship\, and bond together in the shooting community. All events are supervised by female NRA-certified firearms instructors. All facilitators are women who “speak girl” and provide techniques and tips for female shooters. Their goal is to empower\, educate\, and have fun at the range! AG&AG events have been successful stepping stones for thousands of women shooters. \nThe Prescott Area chapter meets here at the same time  every 1st and 3rd Sunday of the month (holidays may change schedule). Prospective members are always welcome! Range fee is discounted\, and your first meeting is free! He spent 18 years as a police officer in a large Midwest municipality. His techniques\, constant adherence to practical applications and high standards for those he is teaching makes for a rewarding experience! \n  \n****Contact the Prescott Shooting Range and Gun Club at 928-910-3457 to find out what classes are offered.**** \n  \nRequired Equipment List:  \n-A dependable Firearm with a minimum of 5 magazines \n-A backup Firearm if available \n-Carbines can be chambered in 9mm/.40/.45/10mm/5.7/.38/.357. Other calibers will be considered as well. (For Rifle/Carbine Classes) \n-500 rounds of quality ammunition (yes\, 500\, it’s a shooting class\, we may not shoot all 500 but it’s better to have more) \n-A quality two-point sling is preferred\, but a one-point sling is acceptable. (For Rifle/Carbine Classes) \n-Quality handgun with a minimum of three magazines and 150 rounds of range ammo. (For Rifle/Carbine Classes) \n-A holster designed for your handgun. DESCRIPTION:NRA BASIC PISTOL COURSE: \n$150 (10 seats) \nThe NRA Basic Pistol Course is designed for new shooters\, and introduces students to the knowledge\, skills and attitude necessary for owning and using a pistol safely. Through this course\, students will learn about pistol parts and operation\, ammunition\, gun safety\, pistol \nshooting fundamentals\, and pistol shooting activities. The Basic Pistol Course will also \nhelp prepare the student for participation in other shooting courses and other pistol shooting activities. This eight-hour course is conducted over two days (Saturday afternoon and Sunday morning).
