SUMMARY:A Girl & A Gun / Prescott Area Chapter
DESCRIPTION:A Girl & A Gun Women’s Shooting League (AG&AG) is a shooting club established by women shooters for women shooters. AG&AG events are fun\, social gatherings where women come together for support\, encouragement\, ask questions in a safe\, nonjudgmental environment\, improve their marksmanship\, and bond together in the shooting community. All events are supervised by female NRA-certified firearms instructors. All facilitators are women who “speak girl” and provide techniques and tips for female shooters. Their goal is to empower\, educate\, and have fun at the range! AG&AG events have been successful stepping stones for thousands of women shooters. \nThe Prescott Area chapter meets here at the same time  every 1st and 3rd Sunday of the month (holidays may change schedule). Prospective members are always welcome! Range fee is discounted\, and your first meeting is free! Even if you already have a gun and have done a little shooting\, our common training platform (and the easy-to-operate firearm) will ensure that you are focused on learning safety and shooting fundamentals rather than wrestling with your gun during the class. You’ll spend about 2 hours in the classroom learning the fundamentals; the rest of the time is spent on the range: practicing safe methods for loading and unloading\, then live-fire exercises on the shooting fundamentals. DESCRIPTION:A Girl & A Gun Women’s Shooting League (AG&AG) is a shooting club established by women shooters for women shooters. DESCRIPTION:Please note this class is now a TWO DAY class. Saturday 8am – 12pm and Sunday 8am – 12pm. You only need your firearm on day two.  \nArizona allows citizens to carry concealed without training\, but do you know the laws regarding concealed carry and self-defense? Can you draw safely from a holster\, assess the situation\, and\, if necessary\, shoot accurately when the time comes to do so? Taking a gun out of a holster in haste is one of the most dangerous things you will ever do with a firearm. You’ll learn holster draw with 2 HOURS of live-fire instruction\, AND the legalities of defending yourself and your family. Plus\, you’ll receive an application packet including fingerprint cards to simply drop in the mail. \nPREREQUISITE: THIS IS NOT A BEGINNER CLASS. You must be PROFICIENT (able to keep your shots within an 8” target at 5 yards); PRACTICED (within the last month); and SAFE (know and follow all indoor range firearm safety rules).
